Who am I? Well, firstly, I’m a Business & Marketing graduate. I wrote my final dissertation on Search Engine Optimisation waaay back in 2003 – and if you look at the ‘internet marketing’ books that were available at the time, you’ll see I was onto it pretty early… and I’ve been ‘doing’ that in one form or other since then. In 2005, I founded my first company and subsequently sold my share of it 2 years later for a substantial profit. It was this company.
The sale allowed me to not have to worry about work for the next couple of years – if I didn’t spend the profit! Of course, being young, in love and desperate to get onto the property ladder, I poured all of my profits into a house which meant that I pretty much had to start all over again – but that’s part of the fun.
After the sale of the first company, I formed another company, White Knight Projects, which is based around internet marketing. Since 2005, I have helped several companies vastly increase their online profile and increase sales through SEO, PPC and Internet Marketing. My ‘real-life’ business experience gives me a unique perspective on this and I consistently use this to make other companies a lot of money. Throughout all of this, however, I have been continuously working towards the ‘holy grail’ – that most elusive of things – the ability to earn money whilst not working.
What?! – yes, that’s right, you read it right. The ability to earn money whilst not working. I’m sure there’s a few ways to earn money without working; gambling, owning shares or being a company director (and employing people to work for you) are some ways to do it but for each of these methods, you need to have some money behind you. Given the fact that all of my money went into a house and has subsequently contributed to that house’s full renovation and maintenance, the one method left available to me is something else….Affiliate Marketing.
And this, I suppose, is where this blog comes in…
