A couple of good things are happening at the moment for me but I’ve been here before, writing pretty much the same things, so I’m going to be cautious with this one, just in case I jinx myself out of the luck – again. My affiliate site may just be starting to turn a corner.

There’ll be some smug grins out there reading this, I know. I’m hoping though, that there’ll also be some sympathetic types who have been exactly where I am right now with my bar stools affiliate site. Once more I find myself squarely in the midst of the affiliate marketing rollercoaster and quite frankly, it’s bloody [...]

Yesterday I wrote about how depressed I was that my site was nowhere to be found in the SERPs – even for it’s own name! A fellow affiliate who runs an awesome site listing concert tickets prophesised in a comment on that post that I’d ‘turn a corner soon‘…Today, 12th May, my 1st page rankings [...]

I’m not kidding. My bar stools affiliate site is driving me round the bend. Its been online now since the beginning of February and whilst I have had a couple of spikes in SERPs, my site has pretty much stabilised now at the arse end of the rankings. I always had a feeling it was [...]

For any of you that have been following this blog over the last few months, you’ll have heard about how my latest affiliate site experienced a nice boost in traffic in the first 4 weeks of its existence but then completely disappeared out of the SERPs. I explained how I believed this was due to [...]

If you read my latest post about being totally disenchanted by the prospect of having a couple of affiliate sites making no money, chances are you’ve experienced that very same feeling. My new affiliate site has been online approx 6/7 weeks now, has dropped completely out of the SERPs and has only made £49. This [...]

I’m reaching a point now where the enthusiasm I had a couple of months ago is dwindling. This is primarily down to one factor: my new affiliate site is not making any money. Actually that’s a lie, it’s made £49 in about 7 weeks. The sad thing about this £49 is that it all came [...]

I’m sure many of you reading this have started a new site in the last few months. Now maybe your situation is different to mine but I’ve heard tales of this particular affliction hitting all fairly new sites after a short period. My new affiliate site over at www.barstoolsuk.co.uk had in the last month been [...]
